You can install Lan-Inspector on Windows 7 or later, but not on Home Editions. You do not need a server operating system for the Lan-Inspector. However, the use of a server is ideal in order to use the “Scan at Logon” scanning method. If you need parallel access to the data base, we recommend the usage of a server operating system as well. This is also the case if you want to manage more than 5000 machines.
