To perform all scheduled queries, reports and tasks, the server enters an own session with a user called “scheduler@lan-inspector-server”. This user appears as “scheduler@lan-inspector-server” in the session list of the server panel. This functional user processes the selected tasks.
The scheduler executes reports and sends e-mails to recipients depending on the setting. It also checks due license agreements, sends reminders, initiates network scans, and file import and export.
If you enable the scan function, please make sure to highlight the locations you want to be scanned.
