The first Lan-Inspector (version 1) was sold in the year 2000. Meanwhile many years have passed while the product has been further developed continuously. During the time we had an eye on backward compatibility concerning the client PCs. For long years, you could scan Windows 95 PCs. Finally, because no one really kept using Windows 95, in 2017, we stopped supporting the DOS based PCs. The Lan-Inspector is an extremely complex product with a broad range of functions for managing networks. In Version 12 we tried to sort and bundle the functions for comfortable usage. If you are convenient with the main components, you might want to try out the software usage monitoring or the software Blacklist/Whitelist functionality. Maybe you want that the network users enter information, so you can use the popup functionality.
