Patches are installation packages that the software producer provides. They are supposed to fix program errors or close security leaks. After a quick network scan Patch-Magic presents a detailed overview over all network PCs including the individual actual patch state. In an instance you see what patches are installed on each computer and furthermore those that are missing.

Necessary Microsoft%reg; installation packages are distributed quickly to all Windows systems of your network. You can watch and monitor the remote installation process for each device completely including the results. This patch process can also be automated using the integrated time scheduler. Via mouse click within the patch knowledge base you receive quick news about background information for every patch. Furthermore you can deploy Service Packs, security related patches and/or additional features like DirectX, Internet Explorer or Media Player. At least once per month on Microsoft´s "patch-day" you receive an automated patch data base update via internet. The update includes all information about recently published installation packages for Office and operating systems.

Patch-Magic features an interface to integrate user defined Anti Virus or Anti Malware solutions that usually run on single PCs. With Patch-Magic you can centrally use freeware anti malware/anti virus modules in the whole network. This continuously saves a lot of money that you would have spent for enterprise anti virus solutions. Due to recently not answered legal questions this feature is limited to the use of the Microsoft® anti malware module at the moment.

Who purchases Patch-Magic?

Patch-Magic users gain additional verifying control over the present update mechanisms. If there are patches missing due to any reason - you can deploy them on the fly without waiting for obscure update cylcles (WSUS).
